Who Am I?

My name is Taylor Stonely, and I am excited about doing “something” new! I am attempting to do “something” that I have never done before. It will take a lot of time, energy, and commitment. To do this “something” will be incredible! I will have to stretch myself, put my time and energies into getting better at doing this because I know I don’t have the skills today to do this successfully. This “something” is very out of character for me. Those closest to me know that I am doing this, and it is going to be hard. But, this is “something” that I have to do…

I am going to write a book

“Oh, ok,” you say. “That’s no big deal.” But it is to me!

Have you ever felt passionate about doing or having something that you have never done or had before? Maybe it was to jump out of an airplane, or to climb Mt. Everest. Maybe it was to advance to the highest level in your company, or even to become an renowned expert in your field. Or possibly it was to win the undying love of the girl next door, or to hear the sound “Daddy!” when you walk in the door from a long day at work.

If you have ever felt that desire to push through every obstacle, to wend your way through the teeming morass, to chop down the vines that grip and claw at you until you reach that final moment, exhausted, bruised, but exhilarated! Then you know what I am talking about!

This website is my labor of love. Those that we will meet, who will come to these pages and spend their time and talent. They will offer their insights to this work. Those that will gather to learn, to gain wisdom at their feet and grow ever closer to what seemed to be unattainable. To all who enter, may you give abundantly what you have and take sparingly what you need!

P.S. I also want to develop a website that promotes LDS authors and their works. If you are an LDS published author, or even a pre-published LDS author — I don’t like the word unpublished because we are all striving to be published! — drop me a line and we can discuss how best to promote one another.
